I began teaching at Horn Lake High School in 2010.  This year is my thirteenth year here at HLHS, and I am looking forward to getting to know your child in our exciting new year!

I am originally from the Mississippi Delta- Greenwood, MS, in fact.  My family moved to Southaven in 1993 when my mom obtained a position at Southaven Middle School.  My mom was a teacher at Southaven Middle School until she retired.  One could say teaching is in my blood.  I have been overjoyed to teach at Horn Lake High School since 2010, and I hope to teach here for many years to come.

I have been married to my husband, Carl, for 24 years, and we have a son, Hunter, who will be twenty- two in October.
