Hi, I am Wendy Smith and I am the Work Based Learning (WBL) Coordinator for Horn Lake High School. WBL provides students the opportunity to take knowledge and skills learned in the pathway classroom and to apply and test that learning in the workplace. This course will help students transition from school to college and/or the workplace.

I have a Masters degree in Educational Theory and Practice from Arkansas State University as well as a BS degree in Marketing Education from Mississippi State University and a BBA in Marketing from Delta State University.  I worked 4 years outside of education and was a stay-at-home mom for 5 years. Since then, I have taught Cooperative Education/CPE/WBL for 24 years at Horn Lake High School.
I am also the DECA Advisor.
