Education

I completed the 2+2 program with Northwest Mississippi Community College and the University of Mississippi. I have an Associate of Arts degree from Northwest and a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Mississippi. Class of 2011. My certification is in English 7th through 12th grade. I have a Master of Education Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Mississippi College.  

Experience

I taught 8th grade ELA for four years and 7th grade ELA for one year at LCMS. I also taught English II for two years at Lake Cormorant High School. I am so excited for the new school year! Before I became a full time teacher, I had the pleasurable opportunity to work in many Desoto County Schools as a long-term substitute teacher for two years. 2023-2024 is my twelfth year in education.
