About the Teacher

Mr. Nathan Algee graduated with a M.A. in Theatrical Arts Administration from Rowan University. He received a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Southern Mississippi in 2011, and also attended Northwest Mississippi Community College where he graduated with an A.A. in Speech and Theatre. Mr. Algee has worked professionally as a designer and fight choreographer with a number of organizations including the University of North Alabama, the University of Southern Mississippi, the Hot Foot Honeys, Project: Motion, and many more. As an actor and community member, he has performed onstage with Desoto Family Theatre, Kudzu Playhouse (for which he served on the Board of Directors 2015-19), and Panola Playhouse. He currently represents Northwest Mississippi Community College in the Northwest Mississippi Theatre Alliance. Mr. Algee is also a certified Actor Combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors, and has taught several local workshops for community theatres.
