Intro to World Geography, MS Studies

In 2007, Mr. Glidwell graduated from Magnolia Heights School in Senatobia, MS. Two years later, he left Northwest Mississippi Community College with an Associates degree. Mr. Glidewell then went on to attend the University of Mississippi where he graduated with a Bachelors in Social Studies/Secondary Educaton.

Mr. Glidewell joined the HLHS family at the beginning of the 2014 - 2015 school year teaching World Geography and World History. This marks his fourth year teaching at HLHS where he continues to teach Mississippi Studies

Mississippi born and raised, I grew up just outside of Senatobia in Tate County. I am pretty much just a country boy who spent most of his life putting up barbed wire fences, herding cows, and riding around on a tractor, cutting, raking, and baling hay. My life has revolved around farming, land, and cattle.

As the son of a realtor/auctioneer, and the grandson of an auctioneer I decided to go on a different path. In a twist of fate, that I do not regret, I found myself on the track to become an educator. So far the journey has been an incredible one and I intend to keep moving on (even though I still work out in the pasture every weekend, literally, and on occasion a farm equipment auction) as I continue to teach at Horn Lake High School.
