Biology I

I graduated from Olive Branch High School in 2003 and went on to attend college at Northwest Mississippi Community College in Senatobia for two years. I obtained my Associates of Arts- Pre-Optometry and transferred to Mississippi State University. I graduated from MSU in 2007 with a Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences. I recieved my Masters of Arts in Teaching Secondary in December 2017.

I began teaching spring semester of 2015 here at HLHS.

I grew up in Olive Branch, MS but currently live in Southaven. My pride and joy in my life is my daughter, Nola. She is 5 years old and is very much a mini me. I enjoy sewing, making bows, painting, and anything crafty. I found my passion for teaching while working for the Alabama Eye Bank in Birmingham, AL. The passion has followed me through the years until I decided to pursue teaching as a career after nearly 12 years in the medical field during and after college. I look forward to sharing my love of Biology with my students.
