Subjects Taught

I began my college studies at Northwest MS Community College in engineering.  I soon realized that I wanted to pursue a carreer in education.  I switched majors and began my way into education.  I received my associates in education in the spring of 2009.  I then moved on to The University of Mississippi, in the fall of 2009, to finish my degree in education. I am currently enrolled at The University of Mississippi pursing a master's degree in Eduational Leadership.

I feel, as people, we should never stop learning because an education is a sure way to secure our future.  The more we can learn and the more we can do, the more we can positively contribute to the world.

I have worked for six full years in DeSoto County.  I taught Physical Education for four years, and also Special Education for two years.  I am currently teaching Geometry and coaching football and softball.

My name is Steven Nails, and I was raised in Horn Lake and graduated from its high school.  I have been married for six years, and my wife has given me two beautiful children.  I love spending time with my family every chance I get because they are the reasons behind every decision I make.  I also love spending time outdoors and pursing recreational activities.  It is a great time for me to be able to relax and try to have a good balance in my life.
